Nutraceuticals regulation set out by US Food & Drug Administration in the USA and in India by the Food Safety Standard Authority of India.

In India, FSSAI regulates health supplements and nutraceuticals through Food and Safety Standards Act, 2006, and the regulations framed there under.

Despite the prevalence of consumption, there is limited evidence of health benefits related to the use of nutrients or supplements in well-nourished adults.
